Bittorrent is the newest type of peer to peer network for sharing files on the internet.
It is based on the same basic p2p as Napster, KaZaA, or eDonkey - but has a lot of differences.
Bittorrent has no build in searching for files, and is based on the principle of the more you upload the more download you will get.
This does not mean you have to share a lot of files, but when you download something, you will automatically be sharing what you download. I suggest you read some of the FAQ's and guide's you can find below before you start. You can also find links to different kind of bittorrent programs.
